What we collect.
(a) The web address you scan and the scan results: counts, issue types, and, for each flagged element, a short code snippet and its position on the page. (b) Your email address and store address when you request a full report, an audit or the monitoring waitlist. (c) Technical logs: IP address, browser type and timestamps, used for security and abuse prevention. (d) If you click one of our ads, the campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source or gclid) so we know which ad brought you. (e) PayPal collects your payment details, including your card details if you pay by card. We receive your name, email, country and order details from PayPal, never your full card number. (f) For audits: if your store is password-protected, the storefront password you may send us by email. We use it only to reach your store and delete it when the audit ends. (g) Audit working files: the notes our tester and our team keep while doing your audit. We delete them 12 months after delivery. We do not collect sensitive personal information on purpose.What we do not do.
We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising. We do not use tracking cookies. We do not keep screenshots. The short code snippets of flagged elements stay on our servers for up to 24 hours so you can open your full report, then they are deleted. We do not copy or keep other parts of your pages.Pages we scan.
We load the public page you enter, the way any browser would. A public page can contain other people’s personal information (for example, names in reviews). We use that content only to run the checks. We keep only the short snippets described above, for up to 24 hours.Why we use it.
To run the scan and show the report you asked for; to email you the report you asked for (one email; we send no follow-ups today, and if we ever do, each one has an unsubscribe link); to process orders and provide support; to keep the Services secure; and to improve the scanner using aggregate counts. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time with the link in each email or by writing to us.Who receives it.
Service providers acting for us: PayPal (payments); Cloudflare (network, DNS and email forwarding; visits to our site pass through Cloudflare); Resend (the emails we send you); and, for audits, an independent specialist bound by a confidentiality agreement. Our website runs on our own server in Costa Rica. These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We disclose data when the law requires it.Retention.
Scan records: 30 days. Report requests and waitlist emails: until you unsubscribe, and we review and delete them at least every 24 months. Order and tax records: as long as Costa Rican and U.S. law require.Your rights.
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to its use, by emailing us. We respond within 30 days. California residents have the right to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale or sharing; we do neither. If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority. In Costa Rica, you can exercise your rights under Ley 8968 with us and file a complaint with PRODHAB.Security and children.
We use encryption in transit and limit who can access data. The Services are not directed to people under 18.Do Not Track.
We do not track you across sites, so we do not respond to Do Not Track signals.Email.
Our marketing emails identify us as the sender, include our postal address (Edificio Bellavista, between Avenida Central and Avenida 2, Catedral, San José 10104, Costa Rica) and a working unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-outs within 10 business days (we aim for the same day).
